Credit Union of the Rockies is seeking a customer service team member to join our credit union! As a concierge, you help create the energy around credit union products. Credit Union of the Rockies is dedicated to delivering an exceptional member experience, which starts with you being highly skilled in discovering members' needs. With the support of your team members, you provide effective solutions to those needs via getting the right products into member hands. Every day is an opportunity for you to turn another visitor into a loyal credit union member.

You get to work closely with our Management Team and learn about Consumer Lending from a variety of roles at our credit union, including our lending-focused Executive team.

 

Duties:

DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS

  • Directly address member needs by being an effective source of information for them in our lobby area, drive-thru or walk-up windows, and/or by telephone
  • Manage the first impressions of visitors to Credit Union of the Rockies
  • Provide exceptional service/assistance to members and visitors in a timely, friendly, professional and confidential manner
  • Educate and encourage members on the use of alternative delivery channels, including ATM's, kiosks, online banking, bill payment, remote deposit capture (RDC), Shared Branching and automated telephone services
  • Advise, sell and set up their new products
  • Stay on top of news about financial products and initiatives, applying that knowledge in member interactions
  • Your success is measured by team and individual productivity as well as overall branch performance
  • You get great satisfaction from helping members develop lifelong relationships with us
  • You support Credit Union of the Rockies, Mission, Vision, Strategic Goals and Objectives
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control
  • Create and maintain a clean, neat, pleasant work environment by maintaining a professional appearance (i.e. dress, posture, attitude, etc.)
  • Maintain a positive outlook and behavior towards internal staff and external members

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Possess strong people skills: You're approachable, a good listener and are empathetic. You're invigorated by constant personal interactions. You have strong communication skills that let you converse freely and comfortably with individuals and small groups
  • Willing to learn and embrace the guidelines behind Credit Union of the Rockies unique style of service
  • Are technologically savvy: Understand computer system concepts and methods, data entry retrieval and inquiry using Windows in a network environment
  • Basic knowledge of a filing system, basic knowledge of the operation of office equipment
  • Are adept at learning new products and features
  • Able to deliver great member experiences in any environment
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions, written or oral
