Duties:

Summary/Objective:

Manage the delivery of Facilities services and programs for Elevations branches, loan production offices and other Credit Union leased or owned property, fixtures, and equipment. The person in this role will be accountable for day-to-day facilities management operations as well as long term strategic planning activities; including defining a modular approach to facilities management processes, methods, and tools for supporting large campuses. This is a fast paced position that requires an individual who can manage the operations of several locations simultaneously while being able to effectively prioritize the individual priorities at each location.

Essential Functions include:

-Hire, manage, and develop the facilities team members to support the growing demands of the department.
-Direct in house staff, vendors, and contractors to carry out preventative maintenance, malfunction troubleshooting, safety inspections, landscaping, snow removal, and other duties with regard to
-Interact with other Corporate Real Estate Teams including Security, Construction and Property Management to ensure all properties are accessible, safe and managed to company standards.
-Develop and nurture a network of vendors to support the activities required from outside sources.
-Oversee regular building inspections and reviews quality of work completed by vendors, staff, contractors, landlords and property management staff ensuring buildings are well maintained and have an atmosphere that meets or exceeds expectations.
-Develop and maintain an automated Building Management System.
-Maintain and operate within the facilities’ budget including forecasting and reporting as appropriate. Manage and approve invoices.
-Work with IT and end users to define and support collaboration technologies including video, voice, and computer peripherals.
-Provide AV technical support for meetings, events and member experiences.
-Complies with the vendor management program and ensures documentation requirements (i.e. liability insurance, W-9, warranty documentation) are met
-Assists in space planning for all credit union facilities meeting ergonomic, ADA and applicable work place regulatory compliance
-Assists in the deployment of new locations and remodels in cooperation with the Construction Program Manager
-Acts as part of the Business Continuity Team as it relates to the credit union facilities.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

-Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervising technical construction trade staff, facilities technicians and working in construction project management
-Minimum 5 years’ experience and working knowledge of regulatory, federal, state, and local building and life safety codes and requirements
-Proficient understanding of energy management and energy conservation practices, predictive and preventive maintenance practices, regulatory compliance, federal regulations and applicable building and construction codes.(i.e. OSHA, Energy Star, ADA, NFPA, EPA, DOE, UBC, NEC, ASHRE)
-Experience with facility critical monitoring systems and configuration
-Experience leading, defining and deploying technical solutions for Facility management, Collaboration and AV.
-Business Continuity Planning Experience

Work Environment: This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment

Physical Requirements: Sitting frequently, walking frequently, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 25 lbs of force occasionally and up to 50 lbs of force infrequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
