Position Summary/Objective:

The Business Process Architect leads Process Owners, Senior Leaders, Team Members, and the Business Process Governance Team in the disciplines of process management and process improvement at Elevations. The Business Process Architect leads and drives efforts to create and sustain a culture of continuous and breakthrough improvement. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial and progressive thought leader, with proven experience supporting and architecting strategic and operational capabilities. This individual is proficient in the design, development, delivery, documentation, and creation of business solutions for complex problems.

Essential Functions include:

-Leads and manages medium to large process improvement projects
-Designs or re-designs operational processes to support new products, services, technologies, etc.
-Designs and implements changes to processes that improve results, reduce costs, and improve the member experience
-Leverages data to drive continuous improvement in areas such as productivity, service quality, efficiency, customer or member service, and sales.
-Identifies and delivers process improvements and efficiency savings through the revision of business processes with minimal technology changes
-Champions quality and adherence to standards and best practices of process management and improvement
-Coordinates with a variety of business units to develop, test and refine new business processes / practices
-Facilitates workshops and projects with broad cross-section of stakeholders, customers, and partners to deliver the right outcome
-Develops and documents ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ process maps in compliance to enterprise process mapping standards and tools
-Conducts thorough diagnosis of business processes and operations
-Documents and presents recommendations and provide detailed assessment of cost, benefits, and risks
-Assists in definition and implementation of process performance measures
-Shows mastery of complex process analysis using a variety of techniques--including Lean, Six Sigma, flowcharting, experience/journey mapping, DMAIC, and --to design or re-design operational processes in support of new products, projects, services, technologies, etc.
-Provides expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change management projects, and performance measures for complex business process engagements
-Trains leaders and individual contributors on methodologies to champion enterprise process modeling standards, quality assurance, and governance
-Defines and assists in the implementation of process performance measures
-Specifies and coordinates best practices between teams and locations; ensure the transfer of best practices across teams and locations
-May support strategic and business planning activities, to ensure enterprise has the architecture and processes in place to achieve on strategic long-term and short-term objectives
-Support the deployment of continuous improvement methodologies and toolsets, including but not limited to the Enterprise Process Map, Training Program and Materials, Status Reporting, and process modeling software(s)
-Proactively learns new concepts and technologies in the event analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives
-Interacts with senior management, which involves influencing on significant matters along with a consistent team-focused message on direction.
-Ability to drive and lead conversations in regards to overall objectives with both current and future goals and technologies.
-Forward thinking individual that has a balance of practical hands-on technical experience but is also capable of accurately and convincingly championing organization changing deliverables.
-Exceptional analytical, creative, project management and interpersonal skills, along with an intense customer focus
-Shows mastery of process modeling and presentation using a variety of tools and techniques
-Tactful communication (written and presentation) style; need to have the ability to create a story and value proposition, develop presentations, and present in front of internal / external clients, as well as frontline to executive levels
-Exceptional facilitation skills, including the ability to lead large groups of individuals to achieve meeting or team outcomes
-Experience leading by influence, and success in being a driver of change in an organization
-Demonstrated ability to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities


Required Education and Experience:

-Bachelor's Degree in business or associated field
-Certified Competency in Business Analysis (CBAP) or similar
-4-6 years successful experience facilitating process management and/or process improvement groups
-Lean Six Sigma Certification
-In-depth knowledge of process and project management workflows and terminology
-Demonstrated planning and organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
-Analytical thinker and detail oriented
-Effective collaboration, teamwork and communication skills
-A passion for continuous process improvement and desire for professional learning and growth
-Technically savvy and able to adapt to changing systems and processes
-Applies a thorough knowledge and understanding of company operations and department's business practices and workflows
-Must be adept at analysis practices such as interviews, facilitated workshops, data analysis, surveys and site visits

Preferred Education and Experience:

-Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP) or similar
-Experience with Human Centered Design
-Prosci Change Management certification or similar

Work Environment: This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment

Physical Requirements: Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full time / 40 hours per week; M-F; Hour Approximately 9-5 with some flexibility
