Duties:

Summary/Objective:

We are hiring a Senior Business Analyst to join our project team. This individual will lead and manage efforts with internal stakeholders, project managers, analysts, architects, and developers to assess, scope, price, and design the delivery of interdependent enterprise-wide, cross-functional strategic initiatives of moderate to high complexity. This individual acts as business analyst and business / IT liaison on following project types: launching new products and services, large-scale application development, systems integration, business process optimization projects, operational efficiency improvements, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments.

Essential Functions include:

-Serves as a subject matter expert for business applications and the discipline of business analysis.
-Coaches and mentors others in best practices, techniques and processes to facilitate effective systems analysis.
-Partners with internal business teams to identify and document business requirements in the form of user stories or requirements specifications.
-Evaluates business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
-Elicits, analyzes and documents business requirements through informal and formal facilitation of cross-functional teams ranging from front-line subject matter experts to senior leaders and vendor partners
-Facilitates project stakeholders and/or business unit leaders in capturing and validating business requirements that meet organizational business needs goals
-Leads ongoing reviews of project ideas, business processes, and developing optimization strategies.
-Stays up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
-Conducts meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
-Provides use case diagrams, flowcharts and other visuals to facilitate understanding of system processing and changes required.
-Completes financial and cost benefit analysis to evaluate ROI
-Serves as a change agent for the enterprise and leverages best practices for organization change management and communication in support of assigned projects.
-Effectively communicates our insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
-Gathers critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
-Works closely with internal business teams, stakeholders, developers, and architects to design and roadmap projects and project plans
-Completes benefits realization (lookback analysis) of project outcomes against business case and forecasted returns
-Provides leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
-Allocates resources and maintaining cost efficiency.
-Ensures solutions meet business needs and requirements.
-Supports the prioritization of initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
-Serves as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
-Manages competing resources and priorities.
-Engages in testing, validation and other QA related activities.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

-A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA.
-4-6 years’ experience in business analysis or a related field.
-Certified Competency in Business Analysis (CBAP), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar
-Proven experience in developing technical expertise and understanding business processes.
-Experience with technical writing skills, developing use case diagrams, process flows, systems technical design, architecture diagrams, system development or equivalent processes.
-Experience delivering strategic software solutions within an agile environment.
-Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
-The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
-Advanced technical skills.
-Excellent documentation skills.
-Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
-Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
-Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
-A track record of following through on commitments.
-Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
-Experience leading and developing top performing teams.
-A history of leading and supporting successful projects.

Preferred Education and Experience:

-Preference for experience in building processes, procedures and/or project work
-Experience with Financial Institution technologies
-Off the shelf application configuration and administration experience
-Technical solution testing and validation experience
-Prosci OCM Certification

Work Environment: This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment

Physical Requirements: Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
