Duties:

Summary/Objective:

Elevations Credit Union, a leading Colorado financial institution, is seeking a Talent Management Partner to design, develop, and deliver the expansion of ECU’s talent management programs, systems, and materials.

This individual will report to the VP of Internal Communications and Talent Strategy and will work in partnership with the HR Business Partners to deploy programs that advance our high performing culture, including: performance management, leadership development, high-potential, and succession planning.

To succeed in this position, this individual must be strategic, but also have the ability to execute. He or she must be well organized and have strong change management skills.

The successful candidate must have a good understanding of the industry’s best practices for talent programs and be experienced in delivering high-quality results. Talent and service are what sets credit unions apart from traditional financial institutions, and this position is instrumental as ECU refines its employee resources and retention initiatives.

Essential Functions Include:

Performance Management:

-Design, develop, deliver, and support updated enterprise wide performance management vision, process, and systems.
-Oversee, evaluate, and evolve behavioral competencies for individuals and leaders to support the Elevations leadership system.
-Communicate and educate leaders and employees, leveraging various communication vehicles and technologies.
-Design, train, and facilitate talent reviews, talent calibration, and other methods of leveraging feedback in order to improve employee performance.
-Administer talent management systems, including design, update, vendor management and future vendor selection.

Development:

-Design, develop, and deliver a high-potential program that identifies and develops high-potential leaders.
-Design, develop, and deliver a comprehensive leadership development strategy that addresses enterprise development, targeted leader development, and succession planning needs.
-Establish and deploy a systematic succession planning process that aligns with the needs of Elevations, including technology, process, and people.
-Maintain talent development materials, create reports, and measure program performance.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

-At least five (5) years of experience in HR with at least three (3) years of direct experience in talent management. This includes designing, developing, and delivering on performance management, leadership development, high-potential, and succession planning programs.
-Experience developing core competencies and implementing behavior-based performance appraisals.
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
-Ability to appropriately work with confidential information.
-High level of discretion and ability to work effectively at the senior levels throughout the organization.
-Comfortable operating within a high performance culture and fast paced organization.
-Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
-Highly organized, detail oriented, efficient and precise.
-Strong computer skills especially with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
-Previous experience with Success Factors Performance Management and Succession Planning administration preferred.
-Detail oriented with analytical mindset and proven project management and leadership abilities.
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to visually share concepts.

Work Environment: This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment

Physical Requirements: Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
