As a Business Development Specialist at Credit Union of the Rockies, you help create the energy and excitement around credit union products, providing the right solutions and products into our members' hands. You will quickly understand that Credit Union of the Rockies is dedicated to delivering an exceptional member experience that's unlike any other. It starts with you discovering members' needs and building relationships with the community. You would be responsible for creating extraordinary experience for potential members in the mountain communities that we serve by drawing in new account and loan opportunities. This role will play an integral role in the Retail Operations of the business in order to showcase our products and services in a live member interaction environment. Working with our Regional Manager the Business Development Specialist position will immerse themselves into key market segments in the communities that we serve while carrying out tactical business development campaigns and while providing retail branch support. Position reports to the Regional Management role of the credit union and will require travel throughout our branch network on a weekly basis.

As a Business Development Specialist, you are expected to be highly skilled at uncovering members' needs, then following through with effective solutions. Not only are you the first person that members meet when they enter the branch, but you're also the person who guides them - advising, selling, and even setting up their new products. Always curious, you stay on top of news about financial products and initiatives, ready to apply your learning in member interactions. Your success is measured by team and individual productivity as well as overall branch performance.


Ideal candidates would have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), up to six months of similar or related experience including time spent in preparatory positions, are comfortable with technology and computer system concepts and methods and data entry.
