Duties:

Position Summary/Objective:

The SVP of Commercial Lending and Business Banking directs, and through the establishment of a high performing team, drives the implementation of Elevations’ Commercial Lending and Business Banking programs and strategies.

Essential Functions include:

-Building and directing scalable processes for lending fulfillment processes, ensuring the processes meet members’ needs and are aligned with the organization’s financial, operational, service, and cultural goals.
-Working in conjunction with peers that oversee the credit union’s sales and service delivery channels (“Click-Talk-Walk”), the incumbent insures that lending sales processes and tactics are aligned with organizational strategy and deliver the desired and budgeted outcomes for production, balances, and yield.
-Leads the development of new lending and deposit products, programs and services.
-Ensures the ongoing quality and acceptable risk posture of the Credit Union’s loan portfolio in partnership with peers in Credit Risk Management.
-Leading teams in each function to achieve Elevations’ lending and deposit goals while keeping member and employee value propositions at the center of all decisions.
-Demonstrated understanding to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations governing the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field.
-5+ years’ senior lending background to include commercial credit, C&I, and CRE
-10+ years’ experience in a senior management capacity within a progressive financial organization.
-Experience working in a $1 Billion + financial institution with structured sales and loan fulfillment processes
-In depth understanding of and ability to interpret regulations affecting lending programs.
-Extensive knowledge of commercial lending, business banking, and business lending.

Work Environment: This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment

Physical Requirements: Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full time, 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday.
