Duties:

Summary/Objective:

Supports production of consumer and small business loans by ensuring an excellent member and internal customer experience while maintaining compliance with credit union lending policy. Manages the loan documentation process and related staff activities to ensure consistent quality, document completion, collateral lien perfection (i.e. vehicle title lien registration, UCC filings, home equity deeds of trust, etc.) and post-closing loan maintenance. Implement regulatory compliance requirements and ensure continuing business processes are congruent with compliance and risk management goals.

Essential Functions include:

-Attracts, develops and retains a staff of Lending Services Operations Specialists.
-Manages loan origination system functionality, product setup, workflows, and outputs. Manages loan documentation preparation software and e-signature applications, including business processes and record retention responsibilities.
-Organize and direct the daily activity in loan operations for all consumer and small business loan products, including:
-Payoffs and collateral release
-Lien tracking and processing
-Document verification
-Loan maintenance
-Subordination requests
-Guarantee of title
-Guaranteed Asset Protection, Mechanical Repair -Coverage and Collateral Protection Insurance
-Compliance
-Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA)
-Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA)
-Military Lending Act (MLA)
-Develops, gains acceptance of and implements lending procedures and business processes.
-Evaluates and participates in decisions regarding system selections, changes, and activities.
-Performs complex research requiring problem solving using knowledge of loan products
-Adheres to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations governing the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

-High School Diploma or G. E. D. required
-Minimum 2 years’ management experience
-Minimum 2 years’ consumer loan operations experience

Work Environment: This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment

Physical Requirements: Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full-time / 40 hours per week
