Elevations Credit Union, a leading Colorado financial institution, is seeking an optimistic and energetic Executive Coordinator to provide administrative and communications support to the VP of Internal Communications and Talent Strategy and the Chief People Officer.

This position is a highly visible role within the organization, and will involve daily collaboration with executives, corporate communications, and the People Department. The successful candidate must have strong attention to detail, a healthy creative streak, comfort working with ambiguous concepts, and an interest in pursuing a career in communications and/or Human Resources.
As part of a growing and dynamic team, this person in this role will be challenged to quickly adapt to schedule and location changes, identify imaginative solutions, and frequently transition between administrative and creative tasks.
Essential Functions Include:
This is a hybrid position, and core responsibilities will include support for both the VP of Internal Communications and Talent Strategy and the Chief People Officer:
Internal Communications and Talent Strategy (70%):
-Coordinating and updating strategic communications plans to support the organization’s mission, goals and objectives
-Writing, proofreading, and editing internal communications materials, ensuring consistency of tone and adherence to brand
-Driving awareness and adoption of key initiatives by creating simple messages that help employees connect the dots
-Interpreting concepts and ideas into visual presentation
-Working independently to deliver solutions, often with short timelines
-Researching and Googling new concepts and ideas
-Building collaborative relationships and asking questions to stay informed and abreast of new initiatives
-Supporting the VP of Internal Communications and Talent Strategy in all areas of communication management
Executive Support (30%):
-Providing executive administrative support to the Chief People Officer, including calendar management, appointment scheduling, meeting preparation/logistics, travel arrangements, expense processing, supply ordering, creation of documents, materials, and communications, and other assistance as needed in support of CPO and People Team
-Supporting the CPO with People team meeting logistics including room reservations, scheduling appointments, and utilizing various internal systems to improve and organize team documentation and communication.
-Partnering with other Executive Assistants and the AVP Corporate Secretary to support company and board events.
Education and Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related experience required
-Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing, and proofreading
-Strong skills using presentation software– PowerPoint is a must, other programs like Prezi, Adobe suite, and video animation software are a plus
-Proficient in use of other MS Office Programs – i.e. Outlook, Word, and Excel
-Comfortable operating within a high-performance culture and fast-paced organization with tight deadlines
-Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
-Highly organized, detail oriented, efficient, and precise
-Prompt responsiveness to both internal and external stakeholders is imperative
-Committed to the highest levels of integrity, ethics, and professionalism
-Ability to appropriately work with confidential information
-This position requires a high level of discretion and ability to work effectively at the senior levels throughout the organization
Work Environment: This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment
Physical Requirements: Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally and up to 25 lbs of force infrequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
