Position Summary:

The Card Operations Analyst provides guidance and consulting to Card Services/Payments in the disciplines of data analysis and Knowledge Management and maintenance of process, procedure and work instruction documentation. Card Operations Analyst has limited experience and employs experience gained through practical role experience, prior experience and training.



A Card Operations Analyst understands the tasks and techniques used in the role. However, this role may need assistance from a more senior analyst to determine which techniques/methods/approaches and behaviors are applicable.



This person is capable of accomplishing straightforward and well-defined analysis tasks. The Card Operations Analyst is able to complete most steps of a task using own judgment. However, guidance is typically needed for the overall endeavor. This person understands the complexity of large endeavors, but is more capable in achieving autonomous results on smaller or less complex assignments. This person is developing ability to see/evaluate alternatives when appropriate. The Card Operations Analyst employs strong facilitation and communication skills to liaison and influence stakeholders to achieve the stated outcomes of a task, project and process.

Duties:

Essential Functions include:
Maintains statistical reports utilizing Excel and obtaining data from a variety of sources. Generating other reporting as needed.
Performs research that is complex requiring knowledge of all Card related rules and regulations.
Responsible for the verification, quality, compliance, alignment and release of organizational documents related to member servicing; including but not limited to letters, forms, notices, reports and policy, process, procedure documents.
Responsible for on-going communication with all areas of the Credit Union including key stakeholders. Relied upon for strong problem solving skills, ability to influence others and take initiative to resolve questions without being asked. Ability to gain collaboration among a variety of individuals with differing agendas.
Technical writing. Maintains and makes updates to the Policy, Procedure and Practice documents and process development.
Ensures all documents are current, appropriately stored and linked, and easy to find; ensures the document and report naming convention is consistent.
Assists with development and maintenance of business rules and definitions.
Performs all Knowledge Management education including development and maintenance of process, procedure and work instruction documentation.
Technical expert on all Card Systems.
Assists in the deployment of projects and changes affecting Card Services.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements:
Equivalent to a two-year college degree.
Demonstrated experience in developing and managing knowledge management system.
Excellent computer understanding and demonstrated experience with applications including Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel), SharePoint, and Adobe
Demonstrated writing, editing and analytical skills



Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:

Demonstrated writing, editing and analytical skills
Information technology and financial services background preferred.
