Our Tellers and MSR's (Member Services Representatives) provide professional, upbeat and friendly service to all of our members performing a variety of transactions and services. Serve as a resource for members, recognize needs and match products to suit the members financial situation. Must be able to "ask for business."
Requirements for the position include communication skills including use of language, listening skills, and making a connection with the member. Handling situations such as problem solving, accountability and follow through. Proper use of telephone skills for answering, screening, holds and transfers. Quality use of speaking voice/tone/energy. Ability to abide by regulatory, and procedural requirements is a must.
Assisting members and potential members with their credit union transactional and account services needs directly and through other representatives. Effectively explain and refer credit union products and services and build relationships with new and existing members. Opens new accounts and service existing accounts. Respond to problems in a timely manner and direct members to the appropriate people as needed. Our tellers must be able to process a high volume of transactions with the utmost accuracy.
Previous cash handling with a strong work history and progressive advancement in previous roles may be considered. A high level of accuracy is required in all aspects of the position.
