Description: |
Plans, designs and builds BI solutions that bring analytics and reporting capability to the credit union. Integrates BI solutions with portal, presenting reports, dashboards, metrics, and scorecards. Creates, maintains and provides ongoing support to Elevations’ BI solutions, portals and reporting structures. Works throughout project lifecycle, from scoping to final delivery, to validate that each information solution is properly scoped, designed, implemented, and tested to meet our internal clients’ business needs. Improves business effectiveness by leveraging information across the enterprise. Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations governing applicable to the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

Duties: |
55% Develops, designs, and maintains analytical and operational internal reporting. Follows best practices and guidelines to create best-of-breed dashboards, metrics, scorecards, and reporting applications providing a high level of customer service to internal clients with an emphasis on partnership and collaboration. Implements and supports data warehouse architecture.
35% Administers and maintains internal portal to support reporting, dashboard, and scorecard initiatives. Oversees portal governance, portal design, and portal best practices to bridge information presentation with data integration. Provides guidance on information delivery and information management.
5% Ensures that time frames and strategies are met accordingly. Works as a team player and technical advisor when assigned to special projects.
5% Ensures that adequate security procedures are developed and followed, to protect Elevations from potential loss and ensures the confidentiality of the information is maintained by the system.
Expectations Describe the expectations set to fulfill the major duties and responsibilities. 1. Must be a self-starter managed by objectives 2. Skilled in relational database design (logical and physical) 3. Strong experience with data warehouse and data mart environments 4. Experience developing solutions for non-technical end-users 5. Solid understanding of dashboard, metrics, and key performance indicators 6. Use of application development methodologies throughout development lifecycle 7. Ability to work on multiple projects and effectively communicate updates with team and management 8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and quickly changing collaborative environment 9. Excellent written and oral communication skills 10. Commitment to quality assurance and testing 11. Ensure that security is maintained and not compromised. This includes attacks, unauthorized access, and confidentiality of data.

Qualifications: |
5+ years of similar or related experience . Bachelor’s degree, certification or equivalent experience o Expertise with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services including the ability to design and develop reports using SQL Server or Analysis Services data sources o Expertise with multi-dimensional databases with the ability to create calculated members and KPIs, and possess a working knowledge of MDX o Expertise in dashboard design with a working knowledge of PerformancePoint Server including the ability to design and develop scorecards and dashboards using ProClarity, Excel Services and Reporting Services a plus o Knowledge and experience with T-SQL, MDX, SQL Server, Reporting Services, Analysis Services o Understanding of MOSS and SharePoint required o Knowledge and applied documentation experience with a variety of industry concepts, methodologies, and frameworks within data warehouse and business intelligence field, including requirements, architecture, and design documentation o Familiar with Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Master Data Management concepts and practices a plus.
