|Provides support to the accounting function of the credit union. This position is responsible for daily cash balancing, as well as, assisting in the preparation of financial statements and board reports. This position assists in maintaining the credit unions general ledger system, as well as, various subsidiary ledgers. |

Assists in preparation of month end financial statements and board reports.
Assists in preparation of state, federal, and regulatory reports.
Responsible for analysis and reconciliation of specific general ledger accounts.
Assists with outgoing wire transfer accounting.
Assists with, student loan, and first mortgage accounting.
Follow credit union policies for compliance with all laws and regulations, specifically, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, Security Policies and Confidentiality Policies.
Balance and reconcile the Corporate Credit Union Account.
Responsible for Adjustments from Corporate Credit Union/Federal Reserve.
BA/BS degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
Two years of general ledger and detailed subsidiary ledger account reconciliation experience, preferably at a credit union or financial institution.
Knowledge and Skills:
Individual must possess a solid working knowledge of general accounting practices and general ledger maintenance. Individual must have strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload and work independently. Strong practical experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, or equivalent software programs and strong mathematical and analytical skills are also required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required, along with demonstrated problem resolution and process improvement skills.
