Description: |
| Tempe Schools Credit Union is seeking full time Teller. Teller's are responsible for performing financial trasactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable insturments. Balances each day's transactions and verifies cash totals. Performs specific assigned tasks and assists other teller with a variety of duties as required. |
Duties: |
As a Teller you will be responsible for:
• Provide excellent face to face member service by establishing and maintaining member relationships through active listing and matching of credit union products and services to individual member needs.
• Process member deposits, withdrawals, transfer of funds and general ledger receipts
• Accurate and timely processing of member transactions.
• Excellent cash handling and balancing skills a must
• Thrive in a member service oriented environment
• Enthusiastically cross sells credit union products and services

Qualifications: |
A minimum of six months to one year of customer service and/or cash handling experience is highly desired. Experience in a financial institution is preferred. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills, and a proven track record of interacting with all levels of internal and external members and successful conflict resolution. Flexibility to work in any TSCU branch when necessary. Demonstrated computer proficiency with the internet and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Project. Database experience preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines. Bilingual in Spanish a plus. Clean Credit Reqiured.
