Duties: |
As a Floating Branch Manager, you will fill in at any PSCU branch location within a specified area, directing the activity of a branch and/or performing the duties of a variety of retail positions. The individual selected for this role will also be responsible for achieving branch and individual sales-related goals, including coaching and motivating branch staff to perform effectively against sales and member service metrics. The Branch Manager also ensures that the customer service and financial needs of our members are being met by branch employees and actively looks for opportunities to increase our business with existing and potential members. This position may include covering any position in a branch, including day to day work and cash handling and balancing, and working with negotiable instruments.

Qualifications: |
This position requires an individual with integrity, an understanding of the value of our members, and the ability to build and foster a sense of teamwork and ownership. These skills must also be accompanied with a strong understanding of the strategic direction of the credit union, relationship building, and accountability. The successful candidate will demonstrate maturity, dependability, professionalism, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule (including Saturdays) among various branches. Additionally, this position requires excellent communication, service, sales skills, and previous management experience in a financial institution.
A demonstrated track record of creating success in the sales and customer service arenas, both personally and among employees supervised, is required.
Education:
Minimum of High School diploma or GED is required. Further education is desired.
Working Conditions:
• Office environment.
• Necessitates movement from department to department and location to location.
• Some lifting required up to approximately 25 lbs.
• Some standing
• Frequent sitting
• Occasional stooping, bending and stretching facilitate filing and supplies.
• Physical ability to maintain continuous hours of standing and/or sitting.
• Manual dexterity to input data on keyboard (i.e., computer, calculator, phone, fax, etc.)
• Visual ability to interpret data from PC screen and written documents.
• Ability to understand our members’ and employees’ speech and respond accordingly.
